I think I may be your relative–you look just like my Uncle Erick Krehbiel! He and my Dad Abraham Valentine Krehbiel moved to Washington State around 1940 from Geary, Oklahoma! They both married Dalke sisters! His father’s name was Peter Paul–who was related to Christian Krehbiel. I stumbled on your name while watching The Tulsa Massacre documentary–Krehbiel is such an Unusual name–and I know my Grandfather moved to Oklahoma City from the farm–to be with “Grandma Patsy”! Big family Secret–so noone talked about it! That’s pretty much all the family history I know! My Dad was born in 1900. I’m very interested in the story that one of the Krehbiel brothers had a school for Native American children on his farm–hoping that was a Good thing! Have been in Nashville for 2 years–History is Huge here! Am hoping to fill in the blanks on the Krehbiel side–WA was so Very Far Away-and my Dad didn’t talk much! Except he had horses when he was young!
